First of its kind in downtown Hilo
The Change Center Collective Workspace, Hilo’s first co-working space, is now open. We offer shared resources for entrepreneurs, business owners, virtual workers and non-profit organizations as part of the ChangeMakers Hawaiʻi Economic Development Corporation.
A space with deep community roots
The 1922 Pacific Building holds a lot of history as it was the space of offices, political rallies, small businesses, a former hotel, and VA hospital. The common thread was it was a gathering space of a thriving community.
ChangeMakers Hawaiʻi is committed to our community and as a result, we shifted our office space to become a shared space for our working community members. A space where work can be done, networking can occur and support can be offered. The Change Center is a safe, inclusive and community engaging co-working space that will thrive because our community thrives with us.
The Change Center Collective Workspace
We offer resources and a collaborative space for entrepreneurs, business owners, virtual workers, and non-profits as part of the vision and mission of ChangeMakers Community Economic Development Corporation.
ChangeMakers is an emerging Native Community Development Financial Institution (CDFI) that invests in Hawaiʻi through programs directed at empowering underserved communities by providing access to financial and other resources not usually available to them, including hands-on support and business education.
