Modules close on schedule and cannot be extended. After this period, students lose access to the module.

Vacations, planned events, and unexpected circumstances do not excuse students from coursework. The course is accessible online, allowing students to plan around such events. All module work must be completed while it's open, and modules cannot be retaken or extended.

Philanthropono works with nonprofit organizations serving rural and under funded organizations to build their community facilities.

This work includes conducting facility design charrettes, development of facility schematic designs, procurement of architectural and engineering design services, as well as project management. Philanthropono couples facility design and facility fundraising into one package to create cost and time efficiencies.

  Change

ChangeMakers Hawaiʻi’s unique approach to community service pay-it-forward/giveback is a cornerstone of our Building Change pillar. We require all of our Raising Change, Boston University graduates to volunteer 90 hours at a Native Hawaiian or underfunded organization to help them meet their fundraising goals.

From November 2023 - October 2024 all of the Raising Change program participants, aka Change Agents, will donate their time, totaling over 1,000 hours of community service.
