Integrating Fundraising Into Your Event

Integrating Fundraising Into Your Event

Free One-on-One Coaching for Indigenous Fundraiser Network Members

Your event is already bringing people together. What if it could also help deepen relationships and grow support for your mission?

Indigenous Fundraiser Network members are invited to a special one-on-one coaching opportunity with Erin Pauahi Auerbach, Head of Development at Teach For America Hawaiʻi.

Erin brings a unique combination of marketing and fundraising experience—from producing campaigns for Fortune 100 companies to leading grassroots efforts for Broadway and Off-Broadway shows.

Her approach is simple and powerful: Fundraising is marketing for a cause.

During your private, one-hour coaching session, Erin will work directly with you to explore ways to thoughtfully integrate fundraising into an upcoming event—whether you're planning a gala, hoʻolauleʻa, workshop, community gathering, or your organization's very first event.

This isn’t about turning every gathering into a sales pitch.

It’s about recognizing the moments of connection already happening at your event and creating intentional opportunities for people to understand your work, feel connected to your mission, and choose to support it.

What You Can Work On

Bring an upcoming event, an idea you're developing, or even an event you've held before and want to strengthen.

Your conversation with Erin may explore:

  • Where fundraising fits naturally within the event experience

  • How to communicate your mission without interrupting the gathering

  • Opportunities to build relationships before, during, and after the event

  • Ways to make giving feel connected to your purpose

  • How marketing and fundraising can work together

  • Practical ideas you can put into action immediately

Every organization and event is different, so the session will be shaped around your goals, your community, and your event.
