This 2-hour session teaches participants a practical, repeatable process for moving from a clearly defined problem to a fully developed logic model and evaluation plan.
Together, the group will work through a single shared example step-by-step, learning how to define a core problem, map root causes and consequences, and translate that analysis into a draft theory of change with aligned objectives, outcomes, outputs, and activities.
The session is structured to clearly show how each piece builds on the last, so participants leave not only understanding the framework, but knowing how to facilitate and apply it within their own organizations.
This approach was developed by Yisroel Quint, adapted from the Swedish International Development Agency’s Logical Framework Approach, and has been applied with more than 80 Indigenous-led organizations across a range of geographies and issue areas. It has consistently supported groups in strengthening program design, sharpening fundraising narratives, and aligning teams around a shared understanding of their work.
Participants will learn how to use this tool across fundraising, monitoring and evaluation, and internal and external communications, creating models that are practical, adaptable, and immediately useful. Following the session, Yisroel will be available for additional coaching, trainings, and facilitation to support deeper application and implementation.
