Leilani Lee is the American Job Center Coordinator. She is passionate about helping individuals connect with meaningful employment opportunities, supportive resources, and pathways toward greater economic stability. She believes everyone deserves the opportunity to identify their strengths, overcome barriers, and build a future that reflects their goals and potential.

In her role, Leilani supports job seekers throughout their employment journey by connecting them with workforce resources, career opportunities, and community partners. Her background in vocational evaluation, case management, employment support, healthcare, public relations, communications, and event management allows her to bring a compassionate, resourceful, and well-rounded approach to the individuals she serves.

Leilani’s professional journey has centered on connecting people, building relationships, and creating opportunities. She has experience conducting vocational assessments, developing individualized employment plans, providing job-readiness support, and coordinating with community partners. Her public relations and event management background includes community outreach, media relations, content development, event planning, promotions, and representing organizations and brands as a spokesmodel and public-facing representative.

Originally from Oʻahu, Leilani recently relocated to Hilo and is excited to serve the Hawaiʻi Island community. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Mass Communication from Hawaiʻi Pacific University and hopes to pursue graduate education and ultimately become a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW). At ChangeMakers Hawaiʻi, she is committed to meeting people where they are, listening to their goals, recognizing their strengths, and helping them take meaningful steps toward a brighter future.
