Instructional Materials Developer

ChangeMakers Hawaiʻi is seeking a creative and detail-oriented Instructional Materials Developer to join our team. This position will be key in developing innovative graphic designs that align with business objectives and enhance the company’s brand in ʻŌlelo Hawaiʻi. The ideal candidate will have expertise in current design software and fully understand the design process—from concept to final product.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Utilize current design software to develop visual concepts and create final deliverables for various projects.

  • Work on multiple media and projects simultaneously, balancing creative input with organizational standards and brand consistency.

  • Collaborate with managers and the marketing team to ensure designs meet business goals, brand expectations, and deadlines.

  • Independently manage project timelines and workloads, which may involve handling five or more concurrent projects.

  • Review existing processes, identify areas for improvement, and develop solutions to enhance design efficiency and capability.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Strong proficiency in graphic design software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, etc.).

  • A solid portfolio that demonstrates innovative and successful design projects.

  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team, maintaining a high level of organization while managing multiple deadlines.

  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to translate ideas into visual designs that reflect business goals.

  • Problem-solving skills to streamline processes and improve design capabilities.
